Chris Medeiros

I was born in Germany in 1947 to Polish parents. My husband, Art, and I have been married for 54 years and we dated for six years before marriage (we were high school sweethearts). We moved to Chatham Twp. in 1977 when our children started school. We registered them for the Religious Ed. program here at Corpus Christi. On October 18, 1983 (almost 40 years ago) I was hired by Fr. Patch to be the administrative assistant in the Religious Ed. Office (he liked to dictate his letters so my shorthand came in handy). Needless to say it’s been a wonderful place to work. I love the people here and the staff, past and present, are like no other. Our three children, Gia, Michael, and Matthew, are married and now we have seven grandchildren (ages 4-20). They live in Boulder CO, Darien CT, and Penn Valley PA. We love to spend time with them when we get together for the holidays and at LBI where we have a vacation home. We are so lucky to have the internet to watch all the kids’ activities and sports. We also love to dance. At a recent wedding the DJ told the guests that they will probably see us at “Dancing with the Stars!” The kids really got a kick out of that. PS - Look for us on the dance floor at the next Oktoberfest!!!!!
