Corpus Christi and The Presbyterian Church Invite the Community to a Children’s Traditional Story of the Nativity on their Adjoining Properties
Children from both churches will be presenting the Christmas Story. The story will take place from 4:30 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, Dec. 19, starting on the front lawn “shepherd’s hills” of the Presbyterian Church and will conclude at a Nativity scene with bell-ringing and carols at Corpus Christi. Costumed children will play the roles of Mary, Joseph, the innkeeper, shepherds, and a narrator. Trained animal handlers from Swift Farms Animal Zoo of Milford, NJ, also in costume, will shepherd their barnyard animals for the gathering.
The story will feature musical selections, and everyone attending is encouraged to raise their voices in singing favorite Christmas Carols. All in the community are welcome. Attendees should park in either church’s parking lot behind their buildings before 4:30 pm to allow a timely start.
At the event’s conclusion, everyone is invited to enjoy hot chocolate and cookies in Corpus Christi’s church lobby.
