Due to the impact of impact of the Covid pandemic the Diocese of Paterson Catholic Charities food pantry is experiencing a significant increase in food for those in need. Prior to Covid the pantry served 7000 people per week, now due to Covid they are serving 21,000.
I am asking every member of our Corpus Christi family to help Catholic Charities, which serves three locations (Passaic, Morris and Sussex Counties).
Effective immediately please bring one food item (or more) each week when you come to Mass during January and February. If you do not attend Mass in person, please drop off food in the Atrium during the week.
Together we can make a big difference.
Gratefully,
Fr. Kevin
