Tenebrae means darkness or shadows. As we come to the end of Lent, we begin a journey into darkness to a place of deep shadows. As Scripture readings and hymns are shared to tell the story of Holy Week, we accompany Jesus in his last hours and extinguish seven candles until the church will be filled with darkness. This gradual darkness symbolizes Jesus’ increasing sorrow as the events of Passion Week progress. We invite you to Tenebrae – Music & Meditation, Wednesday, April 5th, at 7:00 pm.

As your pastor, I wanted to know your perspective and feelings about our parish as we move into a new phase as Corpus Christi Parish. Even though I would like to meet with each of you individually, I knew this would not be possible. Therefore, in May of 2022, our parish conducted a Parish Life Survey to check the effectiveness of our programs and to assess the greatest needs of our parish community. This was an opportunity for all of those who come to this parish to make their needs and opinions known. Click for more information!
