As a Greeter or Usher at Corpus Christi, you will minister to the people of our parish by instilling in them a sense of joy and confidence as they enter church.
Yours are the first faces they see as they come to worship and the last they see as they leave. You are integral during the offertory and communion.
Greeters and Ushers are the very foundation of a successful and smooth Eucharistic celebration.
Greeters and Ushers are needed for Weekday and Weekend Masses; Funeral Masses and Sacramental Liturgies.
Lectors are the proclaimers of God's Word during the Eucharistic celebration. In your ministry, you will make Jesus present in a very real way for all those gathered to worship. In this ministry, you will take the loveletter written by God to us and make it come alive for all of us. Through the ministry of Lector, not only will you bring Christ to the faithful, but you will enrich your own faith by praying over your assigned reading and making it part of you.
The ministry of Altar Server assists Father during Mass. A good server is attentive and can anticipate all parts of the Mass. A good server is focused on their role and does the best they can do while serving. Being an Altar Server brings you closer to God and allows you to learn and understand the Mass better than anyone you know...except Father.
The primary function of the Altar and Rosary Society is to support the spiritual needs of its members and the church. Volunteers launder linens and help with any dry cleaning necessary to maintain vestments and Altar linens.
In addition, Society members assist and support all parish functions, including the Annual Feast, which is held in July of each year.
