Jim Le Mon (pictured with a rescue dog- Samson) runs the CYO basketball program at Corpus Christi. It’s an all-inclusive program where no player has ever been cut in his 14 years serving as the Program’s Athletic Director. While our program teaches players basketball skills and techniques, the more important skills developed are friendship, camaraderie, and fun. Our players have interests other than basketball, and our CYO program allows for children to flourish with their God-given talents.
Jim received his MBA in 1987 from Syracuse University and works in the Financial Services industry running IT systems. Jim has been a Faith Formation catechist for 3 years. His youngest daughter, Sadie, and he volunteered to teach when Sadie was a high school freshman. Last year, they each taught their own classes/grades, and this year they are back in the classroom together teaching the 4th graders!
Jim and his wife have been married for 32 years (or so). They met at Le Moyne College and have been together ever since. They have five children, with their oldest (Kelsey & her husband Jonathan) living in Atlanta. Kelsey earned a BA & Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Mississippi. Meghan is a Speech Pathologist, working in Springfield, NJ, engaged, and is always smiling. Their older son, Tristan, graduated from Miami of Ohio and works in Chicago for a Capital Markets firm. Graham graduated from ole Miss and moved to Nashville in October where he works and enjoys what most 24-year-olds do - sports & music. Their youngest is Sadie, a junior at Chatham High School and has career aspirations to be a college professor in literature. Jeanne, Jim’s wife, is a CPA, has a few local clients and enjoys traveling and wedding planning. Jeanne’s clients include BlinkNow.org, an NGO for orphans in Nepal. It’s a miraculous story - www.BlinkNow.org. Jeanne’s other clients include Swax Lax (Summit) and Inner Grace Dance (Chatham). The Le Mons joined the parish in 2003 and have been attracted to the Holy Spirit’s imprint on Corpus Christi ever since.
