Bishop Sweeney, and Bishop Serratelli are excited to Confirm these special young men and women in our parish.
Below you can find all of the details about the Masses.
Confirmation date September 20 - Rehearsal September 19 at 7:00 PM
and
Confirmation date September 27
Rehearsal September 26 at 7:00 PM
Please have Confirmation Candidate and Sponsor arrive no later than 7:00 PM on all dates. They are to report to the gym.- Rehearsals are the night before each date, at 7:00 PM, they will last no longer than one hour.
- Please make every effort to have both candidate and sponsor present at this rehearsal. If the sponsor is truly unavailable, a parent may step in and inform the sponsor of the details of the rehearsal.
- All are to wear church appropriate/professional attire for the occasion. Please refrain from shorts, bare shoulders, flip flops and workout attire. Traditionally young women wear a modest white or light colored dress and young men dress in a collared shirt, sport coat or a suit. Ties are optional.
- Masks are encouraged at this time, most especially for those who are unvaccinated in order to keep our parish community safe.
- Candidates and sponsors will have reserved pews in the center/front of the church. All other seating is first come first serve in the additional 4 sections of the church. This is a change from the past, but it allows for maximum guests for each family and flexibility based on group size.
- Photos may taken after the Mass, but are discouraged during the ceremony. We will take a group photo and individual photos will be available with the Bishop after Mass.

We are excited to have these newly Confirmed young people in our parish, this is not a graduation, just an invitation to be more involved as Catholics. After Confirmation one can be a Eucharistic Minister or Lector, among many other things. The parish has a gift for each Confirmation candidate, so don't leave on the day of your Mass without it. Certificates will be mailed home at a later date.
